Established in 1994, Wheatlands Farm is set in 130 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside in Finchampstead Berkshire. We run a friendly, relaxed Livery Yard offering excellent facilities, instruction, XC hire, arena hire and events.
Latest News.
The XC course is open for schooling from April to September, updates on opening and closing dates are posted on our Facebook page. You don’t need a first aider to accompany you, but you do need someone on foot with a working mobile phone. The course will be closed from Monday 1st June to allow set up of the Wokingham PC Horse Trials on Sunday 7th June. Re-opening for schooling on Tuesday 9th June. Please register online by clicking the book button, once registered, subject to availability you will be able to book facility hires. Over 18’s please register for yourselves, please don’t add other adults or other people children to your membership. Under 18’s need one of their parents to register first, they can then be added as a rider on their parent’s membership.
Wheatlands Farm together with James Turner Saddlery are excited to offer a weekend camp that is open to all on 2nd and 3rd May 2026, we would love you to join us! Facilities
Wheatlands Farm is continually improving and added to their facilities making the Equestrian Centre an excellent place to stay or visit with your horse.

Livery
Livery packages include Basic DIY, Assisted DIY and 5 day Part livery, with rubber matted stables, all year round turnout and use of all the arenas and horse walker.

The facilities are available for visitors to hire and for training with Nicola Greenwood BHS Senior Accredited Coach.

Residential Camps.
Facilities for residential camps include 38 temporary stables and clubhouse with kitchen, dining, showers and loos. Whether you’re a Riding Club or Pony Club, Wheatlands Farm has all the facilities you need to assist your training, making your camp memorable and fun!
Excellent Facilities
Flat, jump and lunge arenas, cross country at 30cm-1m show jumps and dressage on grass, private off road hacking - there's something for everyone.
Clubhouse
The brand new club house with self catering kitchen facilities, is a comfy place to unwind and relax with views over our arenas, so you never miss any of the action.
Temporary Stabling
While at camp, your horse or pony will stay in comfortable, light and airy temporary stabling, with rubber floors and walkways for extra safety - no mud!
The cross country courses include over 140 jumps at 30cm-1m, two water jumps, two banks, ditches and steps. These are available to hire from Spring and throughout the Summer, closing late September for the winter. Please also keep an eye on our Facebook page for exact opening and closing dates as this is weather dependent.
